What is clicSÉQUR?
clicSÉQUR is Québec’s government authentication service. It helps to ensure secure exchanges of information on the Internet between citizens and the Québec public administration. It enables citizens to use a single identifier to securely access the online services of participating departments and agencies.
The Gouvernement du Québec set up the service in 2005 and has improved and diversified it since then. The use of clicSÉQUR by citizens is, in fact, constantly increasing.
